The Point-and-Shoot Challenge: An American Girl Photoshoot

This came out of a reasonably crappy $50 point-and-shoot that isn't even sold on Amazon anymore. ~*~*~*~ FAQ: Q: Why did you do this? A: Because the AGYT community is split into four general factions. FACTION 1: "omg dslrs yay when i buy one i'll have pretty photoz!!!!11one" FACTION 2: "It's the photographer, not the camera! Stop buying DSLRs!" FACTION 3: "It's the photographer, not the camera! So what if I have a DSLR? Stop asking me, because it doesn't matter!" FACTION 4: "Jeez, guys. Cameras matter. They do. But if you've got the will, you can wrest beauty from a point-and-shoot even as you do the same with a DSLR." I challenged myself to create that beauty. It might not have worked as perfectly as I'd hoped, given that yes, DSLRs have a much wider range of capabilities than point-and-shoots, but I hope at least that I've planted an idea. If you use a DSLR-- drop it for a moment. Pick up that old point-and-shoot and make friends with it again. It's a great way to stretch your creativity, and who knows? Maybe you'll come out knowing a few things more than you did going in. ♥ Q: What doll is that? A: Molly with a curly blonde parting wig from Ruby Red Galleria. Q: What's she wearing? A: Addy's Flower-Picking Dress with the shoes from Ruthie's Play Outfit and a human necklace I got for free. Q: Camera? A: Casio Exilim Z750. ~*~*~*~ Music is Arms by Christina Perri. ~*~*~*~ Comment, like, subscribe, enjoy! If you've read this far, comment "point-and-shoots are powerful ...
