Nikon unveiled their new flagship professional DSLR - the D4 - today. Pitched as an upgrade to the Nikon D3s, the camera has a magnesium alloy uni-body, making it the lightest DSLR in its class, while the much vaunted autofocus system has received an overhaul. The 16.2 megapixel D4 has an 11fps burst rate, and a unique 'Silent Mode' that shoots 24fps at HD resolution (stills, not video). But DSLR video buffs will have a lot to smile about, particularly the cameras audio output socket for monitoring audio levels while recording. At the launch Nikon hopes to 'Redefine. Work. Flow', with their new machine . TODAY got a hands on look.
