The Second Most Important Button On Your DSLR Tube. Duration : 6.12 Mins.
Todays tutorial is about using your digital SLR. People have been asking about my process for taking photos so I wanted to go over some of the basics of how to use digital SLRs first. I focus on how to use the Auto Exposure Lock and Auto Focus Lock button. It is a really powerful little button that helps you compose a better shot and fix problem scenes. Roadtrip USA Canon 550D + Sigma 18-200mm Video Clips. Duration : 13.40 Mins.
Hi again! Earlier this year, I went to California in USA, and brought with me my Canon EOS 550D/rebel t2i. I didn't want to carry around a lot of lenses on my vacation, so I borrowed my friends Sigma 18-200mm f3.5-4.5 with an image stabilization. I used only this lens for the whole trip, and it worked very well. For shooting documentations, vacation videos, travel videos and so, without spending to much money, the Canon 550D with a Sigma 18-200mm lens is perfect. I shot the whole video handheld, and since this lens has image stabilization, it prevented me from getting very shaky footage (unfortunately I forgot to turn it on sometimes in this video). And since it can shoot 18-200mm it's great for shooting both tele shots and wide angle shots. I hope you enjoy the video, and don't forget to subscribe and/or follow me at www.facebook.com =)

Unlike previous games in the series, the game does not carry the Tomb Raider brand and has a heavy emphasis on cooperative gameplay. In multiplayer, players take the role as either Lara Croft or a 2000-year-old Mayan warrior named Totec. They must work together in order to stop the evil spirit Xolotl and retrieve the Mirror of Smoke. A single-player campaign mode is available that does not include the non-playable character AI following or helping Lara. The video game was shown at E3 2010 on 14 June. In the United States and United Kingdom, Guardian of Light was released for the Xbox Live Arcade on 18 August 2010; it was released a month later on 28 September for the PlayStation Network and Steam. Though local cooperative was available at the initial release for all versions, online cooperative was later added. In North America, on 16 December 2010, the video game was released for iOS devices which included cooperative with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth ...
Canon 60D for Video Production Tube. Duration : 4.95 Mins.
Visit thepodcastersstudio.com for a complete list of all the gear used in this video. This was shot in response to a viewer who wanted to know more about the Canon 60D. I decided to give this brief overview of the reasons I chose this camera for my video productions. My first DSLR was a Canon T2i. When I found that I needed more control over my camera and I had determined that I would stick with DLSR's for shooting video, I decided the Canon 60D had all the features I needed. At the time of purchase, the 60D was the only camera with a swivel screen. When producing video, you often times need to place the camera in a postition (high or low) that does not lend itself very well to viewing the LCD screen. The swivel screen allows you to view the camera from any angle. A standard option on traditional ENG video cameras. My other primary motivation for purchasing the 60D was for the manual audio controls. This is essential for producing clean, quality audio. I still use an Zoom H4n in conjunction with this cam but having manual audio controls allows me, most times, to capture audio that is clean enough to be used straight out of the camera saving some time in post production. Other features that led me toward the Canon 60D were the larger selection of ISO's, manual color temperature control (Kelvins), digital level, live histogram, dial controls and the larger form factor. In this video we make cadmium selenide quantum dots. WARNING: This experiment uses toxic and carcinogenic reagents and directly handles extremely hot liquids. Gloves, protective clothing and a fume hood should be used. This should be performed by, or under the direct supervision of, an experienced chemist. Make trioctylphosphine selenide solution: Combine 30mg of pure selenium powder, 5mL of 1-octadecene and 0.4mL of trioctylphosphine. Gently heat it until all the selenium dissolves into a clear liquid. Once it's ready, take off heating, seal it and let it cool. Make quantum dots: Combine 13mg of cadmium oxide, 0.6mL of oleic acid and 10mL of 1-octadecene. Heat the mixture until the cadmium oxide completely dissolves to form cadmium oleate. After the cadmium oxide dissolves keep heating until the mixture hits 225 degrees celsius. Inject 1mL of the trioctylphosphine selenide solution from before and shake. Quickly withdraw small ~0.5mL portions of liquid and quench by placing it into vials at room temperature. A more narrow particle size distribution can be obtained if the vials are cooled on dry ice. The first several portions should be removed as fast as possible. The remaining portions may be withdrawn when there is a visible color change. What's happening is the cadmium oleate is reacting with the trioctylphosphine selenide to form cadmium selenide. These particles start small but grow in size the longer the solution reacts. Now this growth only continues if the ...
Off-Camera Flash Photography with Nikon's CLS System Tube. Duration : 5.77 Mins.
froknowsphoto.com This video is an introduction to using Nikon's built-in CLS (creative lighting system) to wirelessly trigger off-camera flashes. Many Nikon DSLR's have the capability to wirelessly command and control off-camera flashes. This system is very powerful in that you can use both TTL and manual control and somewhat limited because infared is line-of-sight and has a limited range. The amazing thing about this is that you can control the power output of several flashes in different groups directly by using the built-on, pop-up flash from your camera. In this video, I use a Nikon D700's built-on pop-up flash to control an off-camera Nikon SB800 flash thru a small softbox and another SB800 thru a shoot-thru umbrella. By going into the flash control settings on the camera and setting the camera's built-on flash to act as a commander, you can wirelessly control off-camera flashes directly from your camera. I touch understanding a bit about different lighting zones - Ambient light, Key Light and Fill Light. All important to understanding how to dial-in the right amount of light for flash photography.
