Another attempt to create a film look effect adobe with adobe premiere pro. I tried a one color style from Magic Bullet Looks. Used Canon 550d / t2i rebel with 50mm f1.8 lens. All footage filmed on 1080p 30fps and converted to 720p 24 fps For two scenes i used BCC Optical Stabilizer (very good result of this plugin work) Music: Yann Tiersen - Good bye, Lenin! Summer 78

Welcome to this video test and comparison between the Sony A33, and the Canon 550D, which is also called Canon Rebel t2i. I have only compared the video modus in these two cameras and seen which one that is most suitable for film-making. it's quite obvious that these two cameras are ment for two different types of usage. Are you a beginner who wants a DSLR camera to film home videos, family videos, travel videos and so on, the Sony A33 is a very good chose. The only things I miss on this camera is the full manual exposure adjustment, a bit better microphone and a bigger range of lenses to chose from. The Canon 550D/t2i is a bit older, but has the same video quality. Because of all the manual adjustments you can do with this camera, it's a very good chose for film-makers. If this camera had autofocus and a built in stabilizer, it would be everyones dreamcamera. This will hopefully happen in a couple of years. I can't wait! Today, me and my friend Eskild were looking for a location to shoot our next action video. We are planning to make a short action scene, and today we found a very nice location. Instead of just taking boring location pictures, I filmed Eskild with my EOS 550D so we could edit it and get a feeling on how this location would look like in a film. Everything was shot either handheld or with a handheld steadycam. I used only the standard lens that comes with the camera, and used only the sun as light source. It was quite nice to use the dust/sand to create smoke in the sunlight appearing from the window :) I'm very pleased with the footage, and I'm more then excited to shoot an action scene in that location one day!
