Nikon users will still have to use the AE-L/AF-L button to control exposure in movie mode according to page 107 of the Nikon D5100 Reference Manual. Nikon does not allow control of the shutter speed or ISO in movie mode. With the release of the D7000 you would think that all future Nikon DSLR cameras would have manual video controls. I'm hoping they will have manual controls along with 60 fps in there upcoming models such as the D400, D800, and the D4. Don't take my word for it. Please go to Nikon's website and download the user manual for the D5100. At the bottom of page 108 it clearly states that Shutter Speed and ISO are not available during video recording. You can only adjust the exposure the camera chose by using exposure compensation. Reading is fundamental. www.gconphotolab.com http www.facebook.com
