There are 2 HD choices to Choose. 1st, The FULL HD which is 1080p or 1080i 2nd, Which is 720p or 720i. The Most important thing is to know your Camera settings By knowing Your camera settings, you will be able to know what you are doing. You must know what Frame size it's filming, What Frame Rate it's being filmed, How much Bitrate per second. It doesn't matter what video format you are suppose to render What matter is to Match what you are after. BitRate Depends the Quality and Size. Bigger = Better quality, Bigger Size Smaller = Good Quality, Smaller Size For 720p Video Renderings, I would Suggest Not going under 4MB/s For 1080p Video Renderings, I would Suggest Not going under 6MB/s Especially for DSLR videos Which is really high-megapixel, You would like to stay with High megapixel to maintain Quality It all depends what dslr your shooting with for 7D, 550D(T2i), 60D Maximum Bit rate would be 45000000M BEST TIP The Best Tip I could give is to Keep trying Wheather its mp4, mov, avi, wmv, etc... Try Different Bitrates Find what fits you the Best.
