Unboxing: Nikon D7000

The Nikon D7000 unboxed Like a lot of other people across the nation, I was able to get one from Best Buy with some reluctance from the sales associate in the camera department. They had 5 in stock but hadn't put them out yet. When I initially asked about them he ran down the list of features and threw in some praise about it. Then he told me that he didn't have a floor model to show me. Once I told him I was there to buy it and not just look at it, he said "Oh!". Minutes later I was out the door heading towards my car. [This backfired for a lot of people this time. Amazon just recently started sending out emails to people saying they won't be able to fulfill a lot of their pre-orders for the D7000 and are offering a $25 discount off the price once they come in]. On 10/13/2010 I launched the ShopSavvy app on my cell phone and did a word a search for the Nikon D7000 just to see what would happen. I got a hit for a local Best Buy!! I brushed it off as fluke. The next day I did another word search for the D7000 and I got 3 hits for some Best Buys in my area. Hmmm. Log on to youtube and search Nikon D7000.
